Farmbuilders is a next-generation farming company that helps farmers in Liberia create successful businesses while meeting the scalability and sustainability needs of buyers and financial partners.

For profit and for good

We strive to align financial and social returns. Private capital shoulders the bulk of our costs, yet donors help us scale down (e.g. to smaller famers) and remove barriers preventing farmers from participating in our program.

Social & Environmental Impact

We see the world from the farmer’s perspective. This implies a holistic mindset to land use and mindset towards diversification into other agricultural products and financial products that can support farming.

Rubber farm rejuvenation

Farmbuilders aims to build farms, rather than own or manage them for the long-haul. Our farmer agreements are intended to “jump start” businesses, setting them on track to a bright future.

Helping Liberia bounce back

We believe in the message "Liberia Will Rise Again!" and we think rural agricultural development is key. We estimate that every year of Farmbuilders' rejuvenation program will create 1,250 jobs outside the capital.
